ALL DONATIONS IN THE MONTH of JUNE WILL BE MATCHED

A generous donor has given us the opportunity to double all donations to our Bridge The Gap Capital Campaign during the month of June — up to $300,000! We know that we likely cannot reach this goal without reaching outside our church walls. If you are someone who has been asked for funds and want to know more about the campaign, you're in the right place!

Bridge The Gap Building Project

This building project will allow us to expand our foyer, sanctuary, parking and restrooms to create a safer environment for our congregation.

Our guiding scripture as we embark on this project is Isaiah 58:11-12:

"And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in."

Why Build?

Over the past five years Waterhouse Church has grown from 100 people to over 400 people. We have seen countless lives changed through marriages being restored, baptisms, rededication, and more. We know God has called us to expand His kingdom and to expand our building to grow alongside the community.

Breaking ground

In 2022 we felt the need to expand our building. After months and years of approvals and prayers,  we were finally able to break ground on May, 19 2024 -- Pentecost Sunday.

We gathered as a church to pray over the construction, project manager and contractors who will work on the site. As we broke ground on our new “Bridge the Gap” project, we were reminded of the powerful imagery of life-giving water in the Bible and our mission as Waterhouse Church.

How much More Do We Need?

Every last Sunday of the month, we have a special "Bridge the Gap Sunday" where we take up a special offering and give updates on the construction project. The full cost for this project is $1.2 million, and we have raised over 20% of the funds. We're praying as a church and know God will provide.
